This is an effort to record some of the events and people who formed the 6th Christchurch Company of  The Boys' Brigade.
Of necessity some parts of the account are sketchy, absence of any records of the period preventing greater detail beig provided. In particular is this true of the early years of the Company.
History compiled by M. J. Gray (Captain 1960-66) for the Company 21st Anniversary in 1966.
Updated by L. J. Bouterey (Captain 1969-94) with further chapters to be compiled to complete the years up to 1994 when the Company went into recess.
